... dançaria com ela como se não estivesse mais ninguém a ver. Só os amigos tontos como nós a rir das nossas poses e sem medo de parecer desajeitado ou ridículo. Há forma melhor de gritar ao mundo que se está feliz do que a dançar?  

E no fim... no fim, guardaria um momento para dançarmos agarradinhos, só os dois. Eu, ela e a nossa música a tocar no fundo.

... I'd dance with her like there'd be no one watching and with no fear of looking clumsy. Just our friends, laughing at our silly poses on the back. Is there a better way to tell the world you're happy than by dancing a silly dance?

And in the end, I'd save a special moment to dance cheek to cheek. Just, me, her and our song playing in the background.

The sweetest most adorable proposal, ever!

Não tenho por hábito escrever títulos tão 'definitivos', mas acredito mesmo que este é o pedido de casamento mais bonito que já vi. 

Chris queria pedir Julia em casamento e foi com a ajuda de um livro pop-up, criado pela ilustradora Jackie Huang, que o fez. As imagens que vos mostro a seguir são páginas desse livro maravilhoso. Páginas da história dos dois. Momentos que Chris quis que ficassem guardados para sempre e brilhantemente ilustrados por Jackie.

O livro termina com a página do pedido, ilustrando o exacto local onde Chris o fez (ajoelhado, claro). Que amor! Claro que Julia disse sim! Vocês não diriam?

I don't usually write such 'definite' post titles. But, in this case, I really really had to. This truly is the sweetest proposal I've ever seen.

Chris wanted to propose to Julia and he did, with the help of a pop-up book created by the paper artist Jackie Huang. The images I share with you here are pages from that wonderful book. Pages of their story together. Moments Chris wanted to save forever and brilliantly illustrated by Jackie.

The book ends with the proposal page, with the drawing of the exact spot Chris proposed (on one knee, of course). How sweet is this? Julia said yes. Wouldn't you?

Bunny Pumpkin's portraits

Numa das minhas visitas a um dos meus blogs favoritos, descobri as ilustrações de Denise Hedin - o génio criativo da marca Bunny Pumpkin (só o nome teria sido suficiente para me convencer!).

Estes retratos são feitos à medida de cada casal e podem ser adquiridos (por $50!) aqui.

Não são perfeitos para utilizar nos convites, para oferecer como prenda de casamento ou mesmo para pendurar na parede lá de casa só porque sim?

In one of my visits to one of my favorite blogs, I discovered the illustrations of  Denise Hedin - the creative genius behind Bunny Pumpkin (the name alone, would have been enough for me to fall in love!).

These custom portraits are the cutest thing ever and can be purchased here (for $50!). 

Aren't they perfect to use on invitations, as a present for the bride and groom or even to hang on your own wall, just because?
