As brasileiras têm o seu chá de panela, as americanas o seu bridal shower e nós temos a nossa despedida de solteira. Por cá, não temos o hábito de fazer coisas assim - cor de rosinha e mimosas. Mas digam lá se depois destas imagens lindas, não ficaram a achar que devíamos começar a ter...

In Portugal we're not used to having bridal showers, just bacholerette parties. And I really, I mean really think we should! All this pink and pastel colours takes me right up to cloud 9. Soooo pretty!

Nem lhe posso chamar bouquet, porque isso implicaria um conjunto de várias flores. Mas esta delícia não precisa de ser catalogada, para me deixar a suspirar!

A cross between 'If I were a boy' & 'I ♥ stripes'!

À primeira vista, Jason parece um noivo clássico. De fato cinzento aprumadinho, camisa branca, laço ao pescoço... Mas assim que a câmara lhe apanha os pés... POW! Surgem aqueles sapatos fabulosos e aquelas meias às riscas e o caso muda logo de figura, com estilo e coolness para dar e vender.
Noivos, inspirem-se neste rapaz!

At first glimpse, Jason looks like a classic groom. With his put together grey suit, tidy white shirt, bow tie around his neck... But as soon as that camera approaches his feet... POW! We see those fabulous shoes and striped socks and the whole game changes, with style and coolness to spare.

Sei que precisaria de uma boa dose de coragem para cortar a primeira fatia! E vocês?

This cake fits right into my 'too pretty to eat' category.

The colours complement each other to perfection and the love affair between de detailed flowers and the ribbons on the base of every tier, are so pretty to watch.

I'm sure I'd need a strong dose of courage to cut the first piece! How about you?

Paper dreamland

Basta olharem para o cabeçalho do Amor às Riscas para perceberem que esta conjugação de cores ocupa um lugar enorme no meu coração. Cores suaves e doces. Cores calminhas numa mistura perfeita com a ilustração mimosa, o baker's twine e a caligrafia belíssima do envelope em papel pardo.

Uma mistura que me transporta directamente para a terra dos sonhos do papel e das coisas bonitas.

You just need to look up at the blog header to know that this colour combination has a huge place in my heart. Soft and sweet colours. Calm colours in a perfect mix, with the cute illustration, the baker's twine and the beautiful calligraphy of the kraft paper envelope.

A mix that transports me right to paper and pretty things dreamland.

Succulent cupcakes. No, really!

Que levante a mão quem não adora estas plantas. Eu sou absolutamente fã e tenho alguns exemplares lindos cá em casa.

Pelo título do post já perceberam que estas são comestíveis mas conseguem ver facilmente que não são suculentas verdadeiras? Acho que nem à primeira vista nem à segunda cheguei lá, de tão perfeitinhas que são!

Raise your hand if you don't love these chubby little plants. I'm a true fan and have several around the house.

From the post title you know by now these are edible but can you see that easily they're not real succulents? I think I had to look twice before I realized they're not. They're so perfect!
